The Chief Executive of the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY), Dr Ahmed Al Abri, welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to   the Kingdom of Bahrain, HeonSang Koo, at the company’s headquarters in Hidd. The meeting was attended by Ms Hyemi Kim, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Korean Embassy, along with senior company executives.

At the start of the meeting, Dr Ahmed Al Abri greeted the ambassador and thanked him for his interest in learning more about ASRY’s work in the maritime industry. He said: “We take great pride in the robust and long-standing ties between our two friendly countries across many fields. We are eager to explore new opportunities for closer cooperation, further strengthening the relationship between Bahrain and the Republic of Korea.’

During the visit, company representatives gave an overview of ASRY’s operations and the range of services it provides, emphasizing the company’s commitment to the highest standards of safety, quality and expertise for its global clients.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador HeonSang Koo thanked Dr Al Abri for the warm welcome and hospitality. He expressed his confidence that both sides would continue working together to strengthen ties and wished Bahrain continued growth and success.
